The 8th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution was set in place to prohibit the federal government from imposing excessive bail, fines, or cruel and unusual punishments. But unfortunately, it’s not always upheld, and individuals, like Rick Wershe Jr. aka “White Boy Rick”, are overly criminalized for non-violent drug crimes.
In The Community
In addition to providing premium cannabis products, The 8th aims to raise awareness and bring justice to those who have been wrongfully incarcerated. Our slogan, “Time is Money”, acknowledges the immense damages owed to such persons. A portion of all proceeds will go towards righting these wrongs and helping our local communities.
